Panther's Tutu

Football season will be here before you know it.  Last year we went back and forth with what to buy for Mallory to show her Panther pride.  All the commercial stuff is so generic and not as cutesie as I would like! This season we have found a winner! Say hello to the Panther's tutu! You can sport it with a jersey and sneakers or dress it up with a black top, leggings, and boots.  Be on the look out for the matching necklace coming soon! Patriotic Flutter Dress

How better to show your pride in America than by sporting this patriotic flutter dress.  The whole family wore our colors to celebrate America's independence.  We were so excited to go to the parade in Harrisburg.  Unfortunately, we showed up a little late.  There we were sitting solo on the side of the road waiting for the parade to start and wondering where all the people were.  I know it's been rainy, but there was a break in the clouds and the sun was out, momentarily.  Of course the fire ants were out as well. Yikes! Waiting.  Still waiting.  Finally, a man in a scout uniform passes by.  My father says, "Um, excuse me, can you tell us what time the parade starts?"  Ready?
His response, "It was 2 hours ago."  That's right, we missed it! We had been snapping pictures, waving our flag, and obviously looking rather silly as traffic passed us by.  What can I say, we are really on top of it!   We hit up Sonic and had a cold, tasty treat to cool us off and then headed back to the house to prepare for our cook out. Better luck next year.

Owl Dress

Finally a picture in Mallory's owl dress.  We have gotten so many compliments.  Unfortunately the last time she wore it she was not feeling so well.  By the time we entered Target, we were leaving, and not the same way we came in.  The dollar spot was not the same either.  We did get a cute new outfit (purple faded denim shorts and a neon kitty cat shirt) courtesy of my husbands quick thinking! Luckily today was a good day.
